HOW TO CHOOSE THE MOST SUITABLE MODEL
It is necessary to evaluate the most suitable model by following 3 fundamental aspects
Daily production is particularly important to define the robustness/practicality that the machine must have in the short term.
Example: If the annual production is 10,000 bags but these must be closed in 2 days, a more robust machine will be needed than if 10,000 bags were to be closed in 1 month.
It is also good to take into account that the operator must be able to complete the production without too much effort or muscle pain
Annual production is a key factor in choosing a robust and effective machine in the long term. In fact, it determines the distribution of work over time, requiring reliable and high-performance equipment.
Furthermore, to optimize costs, it is advisable to estimate the annual consumption of eyelets in advance, purchasing them in adequate quantities for 6 or 12 months. This allows you to obtain more competitive prices and reduce shipping costs.
The number of eyelets per bag is a determining factor in choosing between a single- or double-headed eyeleting machine, and between a mechanical or pneumatic pedal model.
Using a single-headed eyeleting machine for a production that would require two pneumatic heads can quadruple the processing time, double the wear on the machine, increase the risk of errors and tire the operator
USE ONLY QUALITY EYELETS
The eyelets used in 99% of cases in eyelet machines are the FPT9 brass-plated type that have a head diameter of about 9mm and have the wording “guarantee”. They can be BRASS-PLATED, GALVANIZED or STAINLESS STEEL.
Unfortunately, on the market there are poor quality eyelets that have imprecise measurements.
Poor quality eyelets, imported, or with manufacturing defects, can have material residues that go to scratch, wear and damage the punches and the riveters of the machines, causing damage to machine stops.
Using only QUALITY EYELETS guarantees that the customer does not find sharp edges, metal pieces and guarantees the seal of the bag.

Which type of eyelet machine to choose?
The type of eyelet machine you should choose will vary depending on your hourly/daily production, the timeframes you need to meet, and the number of eyelets you need to put on each bag. You should also consider whether the person doing the job can (or is willing to) make a prolonged physical effort, or whether it is perhaps better to choose a pneumatic model.
Which eyelets to choose?
The eyelets that can be used with the eyelet machines are type 7, 9 and 051. They also exist in different types (galvanized, stainless steel, brass-plated). In 99% of cases, the type 9 brass-plated ones with the guarantee written “certified for eyelet machines” are chosen.
How long is the packaging of the eyelets?
Eyelets are shipped in packs of 25,000. Since eyelets can be kept for years, it is recommended to purchase a quantity that can last 6-12 months so as not to have to make continuous orders and to be able to access quantity prices.
Are the machines ready for delivery?
All types of eyelet machines are ready for delivery as we always prepare at least one pair of each type to keep ready in stock. Otherwise delivery takes about 10 days, time for assembly and painting.
